I didn't do any crypto setup with the debian installer, I just installed everything to a smallish unencrypted root and swap. I put the rest of the diskspace into a large partition I left unused. That became my new encrypted file system. I mounted it under /srv/. For performance reasons I wanted to leave most of my rc files and swap unencrypted. For email, firefox and a few other sensitive files, I put them on my encrypted filesystem and symlinked to them from my home directory. This also makes backups easy since all the files I want to keep are under a single directory.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8579232736983974399.post-84519174104084979942012-06-14T11:54:24.089-07:002012-06-14T11:54:24.089-07:00i've used to do such way in early days of my g...i've used to do such way in early days of my gentoo learning, then i'd preferred using only ebuild, last time i'h been pushed to use debian stable - whats did appeared ? The reason for the delay that you find when opening Buffergator using the default key "b" is that Vim is waiting to see if you are going to type another letter, because BufExplorer defines "bs" and "bv" etc. as keymaps. You should remap Buffergator's default key if you wish to keep both BufExplorer and Buffergator.Jeet Sukumaranhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04874973927331407332noreply@blogger.com
